it was too soon,
we had much left to do.
we never got too see you on your first birthday,
but im sure you enjoyed it anyway.
down here we all miss you,
but we know your in a better place.

it's miserable without you here,
life's really drab and dull,
to see that happy smile of yours would just be wonderful,
thoughts turn to you so many times now that we are apart,
you're missed much more then you can know,
and kept so close in heart.
